1. Who we are

Biscuitbird is a trading name of JP Anime Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 14337136). Registered office: 58 Martindale Crescent, Wigan, WN5 9DU, United Kingdom. Contact: [email protected]. "We" means us. "You" means the business we make the website for.

2. The free design

• We may make a free design of a new website for your business, using information that is already public (your current website and listings).
• It is shown on a preview page on our website, clearly marked as a free design. Anyone with the link can view it. It is not your official website.
• There is no obligation. If you don't want it, we delete it within 30 days. Ask us and we delete it sooner.

3. Launch fee

The launch fee is $350, paid once, after you approve the design. It includes:

• Design and build of a one-page website
• One round of changes before launch
• Connecting the website to your domain
• Google Search Console and AI search setup

We aim to go live within a week of payment, once we have everything we need from you (such as access to your domain settings).

4. Hosting

• Hosting is $15 a month, paid monthly in advance. It includes hosting, security (SSL) and a monthly health check.
• Cancel any time by email. Hosting stops at the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund part months.
• If a payment is more than 14 days late, we may pause the website until it is paid.
• If you leave, we send you your website files free, so you can host them anywhere.

5. Edits

• Each edit is $25. An edit is a small change, such as updating text, a photo, a price or opening hours.
• Bigger changes (new sections, new pages, a redesign) get a quote first. Nothing is charged without your OK.
• Send edits by email. We reply within 3 working days.

6. Your domain and email

• You buy and own your domain, in your name, and you renew it. It usually costs about $10–15 a year.
• We only need access to its settings to connect your website.
• Email accounts (like [email protected]) are not part of our service.

7. Who owns the website

• Once the launch fee is paid, the website design and content are yours.
• You confirm you have the right to use any text, photos or logos you send us.
• We may show your website in our portfolio. Ask us and we take it down.

8. What we can't promise

• We build every site to pass Google's speed and quality checks, but we can't guarantee search rankings, AI recommendations or a number of customers.
• We aim for the website to be online all the time, but hosting providers can have outages outside our control.
• Our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can't be limited.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we update this page and tell current customers by email at least 30 days before.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
